“Sunflower” linen dress

The designer was inspired by the motifs of a Ukrainian wedding towel.

Sunflower is a flower of the sun. In the language of flowers, the sunflower is associated with warmth, light, vitality, happiness and joy. The legend of the flower's origin says that a long time ago, a sea nymph fell in love with the sun god, but he did not pay attention to the girl. The beauty in love was sad, refused water and food, and only looked sadly at the chariot of her beloved flying in the sky. The other gods took pity on the nymph and turned her into a beautiful sunny flower - a sunflower. But even as a flower, the girl turned her head to the sun, in search of her beloved. In the language of plants, the sunflower means perseverance, vitality, optimism, faith in the future, positive attitude, prosperity, success and well-being.
